Steel Stairs and Gates is an established steel fabrication company based in Edenbridge (Kent), which survey, design, fabricate and install various steelwork structures.We require an experienced CAD Technician / surveyor to join our technical team working on exciting and challenging projects.
The key purpose of this role is to survey and produce drawings as required.Other duties include: -Producing 2D/3D CAD drawings/packages of primarily steelwork for client approval and installation
Produce accurate and timely shop drawings for fabrication
Survey and report on site conditions
Liaises with clients, developers and site crews
Operate with engineers and building control when required
The successful applicant will have: -
Essential
Surveying / drafting / design background and suitably qualifiedProficient solid works / AutoCAD skillsAbility to use secondary software packages such as Google
Desirable
Knowledge of staircase regulations and Solid works , dealing with structural plans and calculations3D Studio Max or equivalent package and photo realistic rendering experience.
