Swale Heating are currently recruiting for a Sales Office Manager, based at our Sittingbourne Office.


OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide the highest possible level of service to potential and actual customers both via online and offline channels within the busy Central Heating sector. To help the business maximise both sales and profitability from the opportunities available. Actively seek and enhance online sales opportunities together with enhancing the marketability and upholding the reputation of the business. Manage the team, procedures and functions behind a busy ecommerce & retail business.


Your Main Responsibilities:

•Ensuring sales targets are met, maintaining a profitable and financially stable department.


•Managing and organising the smooth running of the administrative staff in department, providing help and assistance when required.


•Monitoring sales calls and leads, ensuring performance KPIs are met and call quality is maintained.


•Work closely with the marketing department/digital marketing team and external agencies to ensure maximum sales performance is achieved and on budget.


•Reporting back to and liaising with senior management regarding sales and profit performance of the business on regular intervals, reporting monthly figures, including analysis of overall margins, spend, and product/category performance.


•Monitoring the workload and performance of the office staff to ensure maximum efficiency, maintaining an excellent balance of work and a happy, productive environment.


•Working closely with the accounts department to resolve queries on orders or invoices.


•Ensuring all customer enquiries or problems are promptly dealt with, dealing with ‘high level’ complaints when required, including comprehensive communication and input where required.


•Conducting KPI reviews and making improvements to existing procedures and practices where possible.


•Managing relationships with key industry clients ensuring business performance is reported accurately and needs of the clients are served to their fullest.


•Take ownership of products and suppliers, ensuring pricing and availability is updated and managed accordingly in-line with current market prices to remain competitive and profitable.


•Dealing with suppliers and manufacturers to secure the best deals on products or services and ensuring our suppliers support the business in the best way they can.


•Any other duties set to you by other Managers or Directors.
