CXK is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Team Leader to join the Training and Mentoring Programme, we are looking to recruit a passionate, hardworking and flexible individual to join our Prince’s Trust Team Programme staff in Folkestone initially. Ideally the candidate will be able to start in October for training and inductions, to start the Team programme WC 6th November 2017.

This will be a fixed term contract from October 2017 until February 2018, with the potential to be extended or converted into a permanent contract.

Assistant Team Leaders work across a range of CXK contracts to deliver and support outstanding provision/services for young people that engage, challenge, support and empower them to develop the awareness, confidence, motivation, skills and qualifications they need to achieve positive outcomes.

Duties include:

Engage with and recruit NEET young people onto appropriate CXK provision through appropriate recruitment processes (relevant to the contract being worked on), and in-line with targets set for the contract being worked on.

Establish and build positive working relationships with young people and their parents/carers in order to effectively support them to achieve positive outcomes.

Deliver and/or support delivery of CXK provision to an outstanding level, in-line with the requirements, guidance and learning outcomes from funding and partner organisations for the contract being worked on.

Liaise with community organisations to build links and open up opportunities that aid the delivery of CXK provision and positive outcomes for young people we work with.
