THE ROLE

We currently have a vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (shift) on a temporary contract basis. The contract is expected to last between 3 and 6 months in total and will report to the Engineering Team Leader

The purpose of the role is to provide Engineering and specialist support to maintain and improve all mechanical, electrical electronic equipment and services in all areas of the business. The successful person will be required to prioritise and identify workload at all times to meet production requirements (project work/breakdowns), and co-ordinate repairs to maximise machine availability and services in all areas.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

1) Proven mechanical and electrical experience within the engineering field
2) Problem solving and diagnostic skills for breakdowns and planned work in all areas.
3) Computer literate to enable usage of relevant information systems for logging data/orders
4) Willing to work as part of a team
5) Specialist experience in most/all: hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, electrical, lubrication, filtration, electrical, health and safety
