Your new role

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant within our Property and Surveying team you will be responsible for sourcing and interviewing candidates for various roles within the construction sector, through various means such as networking, advertising and telephone. You will also be required to keep in contact with existing candidates using our market leading database. Business development is also a critical part of any recruiter's role and you will be responsible for carrying out business development to new and existing clients through both face to face meetings and via telephone whilst ensuring you hit targets and KPIs.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a proven track record of success in previous employment and will demonstrate the ability to thrive working in a high performance, corporate sales environment. Alternatively, you will demonstrate relatable education and be looking for a rewarding role that offers unrivalled career progression opportunities. Your unbeatable interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with your candidates and clients, which will be vital to your own success and the success of the business. You will be ambitious and determined to develop a rewarding career with Hays by demonstrating your inquisitive nature and thirst for knowledge. You must have a full manual UK Driving Licence or be in the processes of obtaining this.
