Our established Client based in Dartford is currently seeking a number of Forklift Drivers to join them in an on-going temporary contract on their late shift. This is a static shift pattern working 13.30-21.45 , paying £9.68 per hour.
Candidates will hold an in-date counterbalance forklift licences.
Registrations for this role will be held at our office in Rochester.
Working as part of the warehouse team providing accurate and timely picking, packing and dispatch of the goods.
Duties include:
• Load trailers with customer goods in a timely manner
• Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork
• Effective use of WMS system
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into the warehouse
• Follow goods in processes
• Put away customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking as directed
• Manual handling of products
• Signing for and accepting responsibility for tasks that have been completed
• Housekeeping, both physical completion and hygiene checks
• Stock integrity, quality & location checks
• Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy including shelf dusting, keeping gangways clear and litter removal
