Our client a small family run business is looking for a multi-skilled candidate to work in a combination role of warehouse operative and multi-drop driver to work out of their base in Keston. The ideal candidate will be required to assist in the logistics and warehousing activities; including moving of stock from receipt into storage locations and undertaking the administrative tasks to ensure that all stock movements are conducted to a high standard. They will also be trusted with efficient delivery of products to a wide range of customers in and around London.

The successful candidate will need to be very well presented and able to represent the company in a professional manner. They will also need to have excellent customer service and communication skills. Experience driving a long wheel base van with excellent knowledge of London is required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Key member of the warehouse team responsible for ensuring that all parts are correctly identified and stored safely and in appropriate conditions.
• Consolidate goods for dispatch in response to purchase order and internal customer requirements
• Pick/pack/dispatch and goods receipt/put away
• Complete paperwork/computer system records of all transactions.
• Use of fork-lift truck for storage and retrieval of goods. Please state if you have licences
• Support the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining a clean, tidy, safe and controlled warehouse environment to comply with company standards and Health & Safety regulations.
• Undertake stocktaking

Monday to Friday 9 - 5 when working in the warehouse but earlier starts when driving.
