An excellent Part Time position has become available for a reputable Media company based in Maidstone offering flexible hours between 24 - 32 hours a week - Wednesdays must be a full working day.

Promoting mail publications in an appropriate and positive manner while achieving profitable revenue. You will be required to provide excellent customer service and meet the company’s deadlines to a high standard.

You will be responsible for generating revenue from an assigned database of clients, new leads and selling across all products available.

Main Duties

• Service allocated client base/leads list and develop sales
• Sell features to clients/potential clients
• Sell promotions and special offers to clients (where appropriate)
• Undertake late space sales to close issues on target
• Maintain up to date, accurate and informative CRM (ACT) records for all clients.
• Maintain call/task diary on ACT
• Maintain healthy account management including taking payments, arranging credit facilities and calling debtors’ lists
• Assist with day to day enquiries and walk-ins in line with customer service standards
• Action all sales leads immediately in order to maximise the potential revenue opportunity
• Ensure sales book, flat plans and target boards are kept up to date
• Keep leads list/pipeline report up to date
• Complete daily reports accurately and on time

Qualifications and Experience

• Telesales Sales experience, ideally local media or service environment
• English & Math GCSE (grade C or above)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Formal sales training (AIDA, PANDA or similar)
• Newspaper, magazine and website advertisement sales experience
• Copywriting and advertisement, design/layout skills

Abilities and Aptitudes

• Enjoys sales and target driven
• Persuasive and a strong negotiator
• Good planning & time management skills
• Able to handle a multitude of tasks
• Meet deadlines
• Ability to listen & understand client needs
• Attention to detail
• Generate and action ideas
• Manage time and activity in order to maximise performance, achieve revenue targets and meet development objectives
