We are currently seeking a Head of Asset Management with strong leadership skills to join our Asset Management department reporting into the Asset and Regulation Director.
The Head of Asset Management will manage the asset management function, developing the asset management capability and investment prioritisation. Proving direction to the operation of the business and delivery of the required business output and regulatory targets. To maintain and improve asset strategies and programme plans that optimise the utilisation and function of new and existing water assets, balancing costs, risks and performance.
Main responsibilities include:
* Management of capital programme value circa GBP 90 per annum
* Continuous development of asset management strategies and capability
* Management of key asset strategies including leakage
* Management and optimisation of asset risk register
* Monitoring of asset performance
* Setting and tracking asset interventions
* Assessing business need for new investment
The post holder should have solid experience of delivery and programme management in Asset Management with experience of achieving and maintaining accreditation or management quality systems and financial management and planning skills to manage budgets and investments. A good understanding of the water industry, UK Utility Regulatory Framework and technical knowledge of tools and techniques used in asset investment planning, operations, maintenance of mechanical and electrical plant gained in an asset intensive industry. Have the ability to demonstrate a track record in risk management and optimisation.
This post is subject to a basic criminal record check and Right to Work in the UK and a valid driving licence.
