To drive profitability through a well sourced product range, whilst managing our supplier base and delivering
market beating deals and buying income across all elements.
2. Dimensions
Clear KPIs within buying role are to:
- deliver total category & procurement buying income target
- deliver category cash margin growth & overall gross cash profit of UK business.
- control cost of goods and deliver terms improvements with our supplier base
- reduce customer complaints
- manage availability and full service levels with our suppliers
- source responsibly and deliver our CSR credentials.
- Implement and manage Business Plans with key partner suppliers
No direct line management responsibility in this role.
3. Role context
Ashford based, fixed term contract covering maternity leave (9-12 mths)
4. Principal accountabilities
