Well established transport company specialising in the overnight national distribution of fresh produce to wholesale fruit and vegetable markets
The role;
Order/Data Entry, Transport related paperwork handling etc
Shift pattern; Sunday – Thursday + occasional Fridays
Hours; Sunday 1100 til finish (1800 – 200hrs) & Mon – Fri 1200 – Finish (2100 – 2300hrs)
Job Type; Permanent
Location; Marden, Kent
Reporting to the Admin supervisor your duties will include;
Data / Order entry
Processing customers orders on our transport system
Updating internal transport systems
Customer liason ref daily order changes etc
Allocating delivery notes
Ensuring drivers have relevant paperwork
Liason with warehouse operatives ref orders changes / amendments etc
Dealing with telephone enquires
You will need;
To be flexible with regard to finish times due to the nature of the business
To conversant with order entry
To have good attention to detail
To able to work as part of a team in a busy fast paced environment
To be an effective communicator
