Experienced Private and Business Personal Assistant
Recruitment Solutions (Folkestone) Ltd are recruiting a highly organised and very pro-active Experienced Personal Assistant to assist with a very busy Property Development business owner. You must have at least 3 years’ experience in a PA role, you will support and assist the owner on both Business and Private matters, on a 50/50 split.
This will be on an initial 3-month contract starting early November, it is likely that the assignment will continue well into march of next year and then moving forward, depending on the fit of the successful candidate, it is likely that our client will want to continue to employ a PA on a permanent basis.
The role is based in a residentially, on the outskirts of Canterbury. Due to the location own transport is essential and you must be a dog lover.
All About the Role!
The role is varied and not limited to the below.
• Keeping the diary up to date and ensuring that our client is aware of all up-coming appointments.
• Making both business and personal family appointments
• You will be in charge of the dedicated accounts email inbox for business matters. Paying invoices ensuring everything is scanned and filed correctly as well as answering accounting queries.
• Keeping on top of insurance policies, car MOTs and Tax, completing application forms, dealing with daily post other general admin.
• Dealing with Estate agents for the portfolio of rental properties.
• If you have bookkeeping experience this would be an advantage on programs such as Quickbooks, sage, you can then set aside 1 day a week to cover the Bookkeeping / Accounts.
• Anticipate issues in advance and address them before they become problems.
• Demonstrate sound financial acumen and protect our clients’ interests and reputation with upmost discretion.

• The role will suit a candidate who is extremely organised, proactive, who thinks on their feet, who can multi-task and keep focused
• You must have at least 3 years’ experience in a PA role
• Demonstrate resilience, emotionally intelligence, discretion and loyalty
• To be very reliable, punctual, and flexible to the demands of the role. A lot may be asked of you at any one time and therefore you must be able to keep on top of everything asked of you
• Good telephone manner and typing skills are essential.
• Computer Literate including Numbers/Excel. Previous experience using a mac is preferred
• Book keeping skills (using QuickBooks) would an advantage but not essential
• Previous experience in the property/building trades also an advantage
• You must also be a dog lover
• Own Transport essential due to errands and the location
