About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering Department to provide Engineering services primarily in the form of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance, together with other Engineering activities.

Responsibilities:

•Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities to API equipment including high pressure CO2 plant.
•Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities to drug product manufacturing, filling and packaging equipment.
•Issue and comply with equipment, department and room maintenance schedules.
•Service and respond to maintenance breakdown while maintaining compliance with equipment validation, where required.
•Perform the Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) of new plant and equipment and assist with the Performance Qualification (PQ).
•Provide operator training and technical support where necessary.
•Work on a variety of plant and equipment within the site.
•Assist in plant and equipment breakdowns and installations with some calibrations.
•Mechanical tasks such as air handling plant, manufacturing and research equipment.
•Minor building repairs as required to include such things as ceiling tiles, tube replacements, painting damaged walls, taps washers.
•Support the Production facility.

Requirements:

•A qualified, time-served Mechanical Technician educated to C&G as a minimum with post qualification experience.
•Experience gained in a regulated pharmaceutical production environment or similar industry.
•Experience having worked under an ISO9000 quality environment and possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
