Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and confident individual with a logical mind and a passion for data analytics and software to join our technical and training team to support the Head of Technical and Training services.
The primary role will involve being responsible for the delivery of software training and consultancy services for the range of audit related software products sold by the company.
Due to the client base and the application of the software, ideally we are looking for an individual with an understanding of accounting principles and general business processes to best understand and work in the enviroments that our clients apply the software that we sell to.
The delivery of the training and consultancy services themselves will take place at public and client based venues in and around the UK and Ireland, so requires an indiviual who enjoys travel and meeting new people.
When not delivering training courses you be based at the companies office in Kent, where you will be required to assist the technical team with technical support calls and other projects.

Responsibilties
• Preparing training materials and associated equipment
• Travelling to training locations
• Delivering training courses and consultancy services at the company offices, public venues and client sites
• Identifying opportunities to “cross” or “up” sell to clients during training courses or telephone conversations
• Providing technical support assistance to clients when required
• Providing consultancy project assistance when required
• Ad-hoc duties for the Head of Technical and Training Services
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
• Confident, professional and polite manner
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated and keen to learn
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Be able to work independently and on own initiative
• Proven track record meeting deadlines
• Friendly personality and team player
• Comfortable with IT and business based software
• Able to train clients within the UK and Ireland with overnight stays and travelling time outside of work hours.
• Full and clean drivers licence
Desirable:
• Experience of accounting/auditing principles and general business processes
• Understanding of database systems - specifically accounting software packages
• Computer literate with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Able to identify new projects that will benefit the company
• Ability to create new courses to extend the current offerings to meet client interest
