Job Description
THE ROLE
Working from our offices in Clover House in Whitstable, Kent, this is a great opportunity to be part of a lively, dedicated team. We work continuously to resolve our customers’ queries in a confident, sympathetic and efficient manner. You will be responsible for handling inbound communications and responding to our customers’ queries.
Your input will be integral to delivering a quality service to our customers on a day to day basis.
The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, a positive attitude, a good telephone manner, advanced literacy skills and an ability to deal with difficult situations. You will be part of a small yet busy customer services team, working closely with other employees within the company. Successful, effective performance can lead to role development opportunities.
KEY SKILLS
An interest in Travel and Tourism is essential, a knowledge of Tuscany an advantage.
Applicant will need good communication skills and be computer literate.
Ability to work both within a team environment and to work under own initiative
High attention to detail
The ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
Working 8 hour shifts Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am – 6pm, alternate Saturday 10am – 7pm plus one Sunday per month, maximum 5 days per week. An equal number of bank holidays covered across the sales team. (Excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day)
Salary £24000 per annum
20 days holiday.
Focus is customer service
Company funded travel to Italy may be required up to 4 times per annum
