LEARNING SUPPORT PRACTITIONER

Various posts available at our Broadstairs campus

Hours and salary:

o 10,465 for 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year


o 6,454 for 18.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year


Plus 31 days paid pro-rata annual leave, a contributory pension scheme and a range of other benefits.

The role of the Learning Support Practitioner supports students who have a varying level of ability on a range of employability, vocational and life skills. You will be supporting with embedding Maths and English as part of the Study Programme and providing support on a 1:1 basis, or with a group as required.

You will work as a member of a team to support students who may have any of the following conditions or needs: Autistic Spectrum Condition, Behaviour Social Emotional Disorder, Global learning delay, Language and Communication, Sensory, Physical needs. Your aim will be to empower and guide students to enable them to become independent learners.
