Office Coordination Assistant
Aylesford Office (West Kent), full-time, permanent
£16,575pa

Lauriem Complete Care Ltd is a successful social care organisation, committed to providing excellent quality care for people in their own homes. Due to business growth, we are looking for a Coordination Assistant to support our West Kent team based in Aylesford. This is a full time position working Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.

JOB ROLE:
• Support the Area Coordinators in core administrative tasks, such as checking and filing care plans, risk assessments, MAR charts and client records; answering the phone to customers and staff.
• Support the Area Coordinator with rotas and at times oversee some areas rotas, the allocating of client calls to Community Care Workers bearing in mind availability, SDO requirements/needs and travel time.
• Support on new client contracts and KCC correspondence regarding new client packages; ensure details are entered accurately into Cirrus and all necessary records are completed.
• Liaise with Community Care Workers, Supervisors, Service Users, families, hospitals, Doctors, District Nurses and Care Management.
• To support the On-Call team during out of hours when needed (sickness / annual leave), ensuring that all Service User’s visits are allocated to a member of care staff and to support and deal with any issues that are reported in. This will be in the evening and/or at weekends, notice and time off in lieu will be given in the week.


JOB SPECIFICATION:
• Be knowledgeable regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, health and safety, equality and diversity and company policies and procedure
• Experience and capacity to understand and take account of the needs and difficulties of people who experience physical and mental health problems
• Experience of providing high quality Customer service
• Computer literate essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to probe and follow up on issues
• Knowledge of the care industry and CQC regulations & data protection act (Desirable)
