Age UK Thanet has been improving life for older people in the East Kent area for over 60 years. We do this by providing day opportunities and clubs in our day centre and at other venues to facilitate social contact and stimulation. This helps to reduce isolation and loneliness by maintaining and restoring independence. We also run outreach services and we partner with a number of key local authorities and commissioning services as we work towards the transformation of services for older people across the UK at this current time. We have an exciting future ahead of us, and we are looking for someone to lead this work for us in Thanet.
