We are now recruiting for an Operations Manager for our on-board services department, reporting directly to the Head of On board Service and Sales.
Based in our offices in Dover, you will:
- Be responsible for a team of 16 Managers and 500 crew
- Be accountable and responsible for the delivery of the Commercial, Financial and Quality objectives set for the company vessel(s) to which you are assigned to
- Have responsibility for the delivery of defined business projects and customer improvement programmes
- Be responsible for service improvements and the on-board service proposition
To be considered for this role, it is essential you:
- Have proven experience in a senior management role within a high volume, fast moving consumer driven environment
- Have demonstrable operational management experience in fast moving, high volume, face to face service industries (i.e.. travel, retail, hospitality)
- Experience in Profit/Loss management accounting and cash management
- Experience in writing and monitoring budgets
- Have your own transport
- Hold business management qualifications
It would also be desirable if you:
- Are knowledgeable in all aspects of the travel leisure industry
- Have Maritime experience
- Are educated to degree standard or equivalent
