Kentec Training is currently in search of an experienced Training Operations Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Kentec offers an attractive employee package and genuine career opportunities for passionate professionals who want a career within the Education and Training industry.
Primary responsibilities will be for resource allocation, course and instructor scheduling, team recruitment, quality management, new business development and supporting the delivery of health and safety training services. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Managing Director with the delivery of business strategy designed to deliver significant growth.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, as well as keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a management role within the Education & Training industry is essential for this position.
In addition to the above, candidates that possess training skills and/or an auditing qualification would have an advantage.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities will include the management and development of:
• The delivery of health and safety training services
• The daily operation and interaction of instructors and support staff
• Resource allocation, course and instructor scheduling
• Team recruitment
• Quality and awarding body compliance
• New business development
• Service profitability in line with budget, whilst maintaining flexibility to meet customer needs.
• Robust management information reporting and systems
Experience
• Management of corporate training programmes
• Experience within the health and safety training industry
• Experience of internal quality control and ISO9001 systems
• Management and delivery of training consultancy, design & development projects
• Strong stakeholder influencing and management skills
• Strong service, project and programme management skills
• Ability to effectively manage people to deliver against objectives
• Confident communicator
• Ability to take initiative, work under pressure, organise and prioritise tasks
• Ability to train, motivate and lead teams including teams drawn from other parts of the organisation
• Experience implementing and managing a supply chain
Qualifications
• Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Current full driving licence
