Do you enjoy working with young people? Are you a sensitive, responsive and clear communicator with the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic RGN (Band 6) to join our thriving nursing team; they will be a caring person who strives to give the best pro-active patient care to our pupils. The successful candidate would be required to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have accurate medical data recording skills and good IT skills. Previous experience of working with children and young people is highly desirable. Experience in minor injuries, chronic disease management, adolescent mental health, travel health or sexual health would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will complement our current team of Nurses which provides health care for over 600 boarders and 200 day pupils aged between 13 and 18 years of age. The School’s Health Centre is staffed 24 hours a day during term time only and operates a set 2 week shift pattern.

The King’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
