We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring reliable individuals with a desire to work with disabled children at our residential service in Canterbury.

You will be expected to empower young people with disabilities to; Engage in a range of activities of their choice and provide appropriate physical, social and personal care throughout the day and night. Support individuals in achieving an appropriate level of independence and well being, keeping in line with their aspirations and abilities. Whilst maximizing their experiences and developmental opportunities.

You must be able to work as part of a close knit team and where necessary, on your own initiative to a high standard. Good interpersonal skills and communication are essential.

You must have an NVQ 3 in Children and Young people or be willing to work towards the award and a have a current driving license due to location.

We are looking for motivated and committed individuals with a calm approach. Experience of working with children and young people or in residential care setting is desirable, however full training will be provided to successful applicants.

We offer an hourly rate of pay at £7.50 per hour or £8.00 per hour with diploma qualification as of 1st April.
