The Best Connection is proudly advertising for a Chef for one of our clients in the Canterbury area. The role would involve working at an up and coming vegan restaurant in historic Canterbury near Canterbury West train station.
The responsibilities of the role are:
- Working in a kitchen cooking vegan food.
- Working as part of a team.
- Running the kitchen, ensuring food is served on time and makes it to the pass.
- Preparing the food ready for cooking.
- Cleaning the kitchen area.
- Have to work in a different way and prepare food differently due to the products being vegan.
- Deep frying and assembling fo food.
The requirements for the role are:
- Have previous kitchen experience.
- Have worked in restaurant before.
- Be prepared to work long shifts.
- Not be afraid of hard work.
- Work well as part of a team.
The work is on a Monday to Sunday basis except for Tuesdays each week. The work will start at 11am to 8pm.
Full training will be provided to help with learning how to cook vegan food.
The pay per hour is £7.50 per hour which equates £380 per week.
