Ethelbert Children's Services provide full care for vulnerable young people and children with emotional and challenging behaviours, within a residential environment. Our dedicated teams provide a high level of care, supported by committed and knowledgeable Managers with bespoke training provision within our own facilities, for your professional development.
We are delighted to announce ETHELBERT CHILDREN'S SERVICES are currently in the final processes of opening a further residential home, for girls, in Deal; hence, we are recruiting and seeking individuals, Senior/Residential Workers, to form the team and provide the high level of childcare, as provided within our homes and Education support across East Kent.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with previous knowledge or transferable skills to become part of this rare process and an opportunity for candidates to commence their childcare career, with a desire to develop their own skills and gain an understanding of working with young people and a willingness to undergo further training, at our dedicated training centre.
Our childcare provision provides 24-hour care, a rota shift pattern, including weekends and sleep-ins. We offer an approximate starting salary, without any previous knowledge, of £18,750 raising to £20,433 for Residential Workers recognising individuals' transferable skills; payment is given for compulsory training attendance and staff meetings.
Senior Residential Workers are offered a starting salary of £20,928 raising to £21,720.
