Experienced Software Developer (.NET/C#) wanted to join the highly successful .NET team of a busy company based in Maidstone, who are leaders in their field.

The role will be to deliver software solutions across a variety of platforms using the latest cutting edge technologies from software, to web to mobile/tablet.

Working under an Agile with SCRUM development process, the successful applicant will need to:

- Keep abreast of new emerging technologies and discuss across the team
- Confidently suggest ways in which products or processes can be improved
- Actively promote testing across all products ensuring best practices are adhered to and maintained
- Champion clean code standards and share best practice across the team
- Ensure code is maintained using version control
- Provide mentoring and guidance to more junior team members


Key skills required:

- 4-5+ years commercial experience with .NET/C#
- HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript
-ASP.NET MVC/WEB API
-NUnit, xUnit
- SQL Server


Beneficial:

- Experience in utilising the MS Azure technology stack for development, hosting & deployment
- Experience in .NET CMS development, preferably Umbraco CMS
- Experience in strong OO principles, such as Dependency Injection and SOLID principles
- Team city, Octopus deploy, GitFlow


Personal skills/requirements:

- Ideally you will have a good academic background, and enjoy working in a close knit development environment.
- High level of technical knowledge to allow for 'first level' system architecture discussions
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Unflappable nature
- A passion for technology
- Ability to prepare excellent documentation when required by clients
