Account Executive, Kent

Barker Munro Recruitment is working with a well-known brand in the UK insurance market who are looking for an Account Executive to join this busy regional office that can provide long term career progression.

As a Client Account Executive, you will be responsible for handling a book of existing clients and their account needs whilst also having a new business target to work too. You will work closely you’re your account handlers o effectively manage a portfolio of clients to ensure best practice is achieved to retain existing clients whilst pro-actively working to win new accounts and grow revenue.

You will manage a large book of predominantly large clients, identify, and agree strategies for, clients’ risk management, risk financing and insurance needs and host client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client service teams.

Applicants will have Property-Casualty (Combined) insurance experience with strong negotiating and influencing skills but if you have any knowledge of commercial Motor including fleets that would be a distinct advantage. Building strong relationships is key so we are seeking excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with previous Insurance business development/servicing experience.
