Our client is a growing and successful business based in Mid Kent, they are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of effective financial services whilst successfully undertaking a range of personal and professional development activity centred around the requirements laid down for the Finance Apprentice role.
Responsibilities will include:
-Keep routine financial spreadsheets up to date to aid in the production of financial and performance information
-Enter data into financial systems, including general ledger, debtors, purchasing and creditors
-Retrieval of financial data, routine checking of financial systems to assist in providing analysis of financial information
-Monthly supplier statements and chasing invoices not received
-Daily coding and batching invoices for payment and income recharges
The successful candidate must be able and willing to follow instruction and learn new tasks, and must be able to meet the entry requirements of the NVQ course (AAT) and to attend and undertake the studying and coursework required to complete the course. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is keen to begin a successful career within finance in an environment that offers support.
