You will be responsible for the creation of a range of editorial content, which will be published within a market leading B2B magazine and website. You will be required to research and produce content on all aspects of events, write news stories, press releases, blogs and features and apply SEO strategies to build web traffic and engagement. This role would suit an enthusiastic individual with a desire to grow their existing skills within an experienced team.

As well as writing and publishing daily content online, you will be proofing work produced by other team members and will be responsible for ensuring parts of the website are maintained and updated regularly.

The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of multi-platform journalism and have sound social media skills.

Duties include:
• Researching and writing news stories and features on dedicated topics.
• Writing and collating weekly newsletters.
• Working alongside the editor, you will identify content and feature opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and customer behaviour.
• Working alongside the team, you will undertake social media activities to drive traffic to the website and manage the implementation of a social media strategy.
• Liaising regularly with the magazine’s readership
• Some evening and weekend work, attending events/festivals and representing the magazine at industry events
