£7.15 or £7.50* per hour (£9.12 when undertaking Duty Manager duties)
equivalent to the full-time salary of £14,544/£15255* (£18,553 per annum)

We are looking for a responsible, reliable individual who, in addition to normal lifeguarding duties of ensuring that our swimmers are safe and our customers are looked after, whilst also keeping the centre clean and preparing the activity areas for our busy programme, will assume the Duty Manager role for our facility when required.

Applications are invited from NPLQ qualified lifeguards, who can demonstrate the right attitude, experience of responsibility and a long-term commitment to this role. Development and training to meet the needs of the job is available.

What you'll need:
• experience as a lifeguard and a proven capability for responsibility, particularly with regards to colleagues and customers
• an interest in working in the Leisure Sector
• a mature and hard-working attitude with the desire to learn and develop
• to be reliable, flexible and honest
• a professional yet friendly manner and a genuine interest in working with the public
• the ability to remain calm under pressure and within a busy environment
• a valid Lifeguard qualification

*£7.50 rate of pay is the National Living Wage, which is paid to those aged 25 and over / £7.15 rate of pay is for NPLQ qualified employees aged under 25.
