Motor Claims Inspector - Home and Field Based
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum, plus car / laptop / mobile and other company bene fits
Area: South East and South West London
We are recruiting for a confident individual with around 5years RTA Investigation experience and/or hands on RTA Third Party Claims experience, capable of working for long periods with little supervision, to carry out external enquiries and provide external support to the Claims team by way of Third Party Interventions and Investigation Support, based within the south east and south west London area. You will be an integral part of a friendly and forward thinking team, who are based within a growing company that treats all their staff as individuals.
Purpose of the Role:

-To assist the Internal Claims Team by carrying out Liability, Indemnity and Fraud Investigations.
-To collate evidence to aid the negation and repudiation of Claims.
-To carry out external enquiries and provide external support to the Claims team by way of Third Party Interventions and Investigation Support.
-The role is one which adds value to the business by gathering evidence to assist with liability decision making, minimising claims leakage and by producing intervention savings.
Key Role Deliverables:
-To obtain claims information from policyholders on non notifications
-Carry out face to face Third Party Intervention to mitigate claims spend
-Education of Fleet Managers in respect of the reporting cycle
-Witness statement taking and Locus reports
-Proactive investigation of suspected Fraudulent Claims
Critical Competencies:
-The ability to communicate at all levels
-Persuasive skills
-Investigative skills
-Report writing
-Organisational and management skills
-Keen eye for details IT literate and have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
-Be reliable and accurate in all activities undertaking
-Good time management and organisation skills
-Consistently deliver against timescales and deadlines set
-Capable of working for long periods with little supervision
Experience:
Preferred
-Experience of managing own workload and working from home.
Essential
-5 years RTA Investigation experience and/or hands on RTA Third Party Claims experience
