BANK Multi-Disciplinary Biomedical Scientist
Based Maidstone, Kent

KIMS Hospital are hiring a Multi-disciplinary Biomedical Scientist to join our BANK team. The hours for this position are Monday : Friday between the 8am-6pm, there will be possible Saturday and Sunday mornings depending on workload.
Responsibilities will include however will not be limited to:
* To provide a multidisciplinary service to all users of the pathology service
* Perform test in all areas of Pathology as required
* Maintain reagents and supplies
* Take part in instruments validation and verification as required
* Develop new test and techniques as required
* Evaluate and authorise results to ensure the smooth running of the service
The ideal candidate will:
* HCPC Registrations as a Biomedical Scientist
* Biomedical Science Degree or equivalent
* Post Registration experience within a diagnostic laboratory service environment
* Computer Literate
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Experience of using Quality Management Systems
