Our client a well established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Sidcup is looking to expand and are currently recruiting for a a CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified tax adviser with several years experience in an accountancy practice to manage the corporate and business tax services.
The main aspects of this role are:
• Reviewing tax computations prepared by audit and accounts teams with a view to identifying issues and spotting opportunities to add value
• Undertaking advisory and planning work for owner managed businesses, mostly companies but a number of LLPs and partnerships, including the interaction of the business with the owners and employees
• Working with the tax and corporate finance partners in relation to corporate transactions including company sales and purchases, MBO’s, purchases of own shares etc
• Assisting with development of the tax practice by working with the tax partner on client seminars, press articles, newsletters, networking and internal training.
The successful candidate will be technically astute, personable, ambitious, commercial and a good communicator.
This is an exciting role, with excellent prospects for progression within a substantial, ambitious and growing independent practice.
