CMS are looking for a New Business Development Consultant on behalf of one of our clients.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated sales professional, be pro-active, forward thinking and have a passion for sales. Must have an excellent telephone manner and must be confident knowledgeable and articulate.
The job purpose is to provide new sales contracts and assist in the growth of the business by ethically achieving sales team targets(as provided by the Company from time to time) via authorised products and services, at authorised prices to credit worthy customers. To profitably retain existing customer contracts. Where applicable to manage, train, support and motivate other team members.

• Achieve individual and company objectives and targets (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly):
o Sales targets.

• Devise sales plans
o Estimated sales units, sales type & model mix, average sales values.
o Activity levels.

• Marketing
o Focus sales activity levels on key market sector customers.
o Ensure coverage of geographical sales area.
o Attend and contribute to marketing meetings.
o Liaise with the marketing co-ordinator for campaigns.
o Assist in developing point of sale material, scripts and marketing collateral.

• Monitoring, Reporting, Accountability & Evaluation
o Consistent and regular monitoring and evaluation of activity levels and sales performance statistics.
o Reporting of sales performance to Director.

• Product Knowledge
o To continuously improve own skills and product knowledge to enable improvement in performance.

• Sales Meetings

• Sales Administration

• Liaison with Suppliers

• Account Management
o Objectives – nil loss of customer contracts, maximisation of revenue/profit potential


Additional services are sold where applicable
In-house training provided for new employees.

Account Management Objectives will include nil loss of customer contracts, maximisation of revenue/profit potential, to ensure that customers are contacted on a regular basis.
Account management surveys, renegotiation of contracts when necessary and additional services are sold where applicable.
Annual salary of £17,000 - £19,000 OTE of £25,000
