Location: Maidstone
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £23,000 gross per annum

The role: Porchlight is working across the districts of South and East Kent to offer our Family Support Service. Our Family support team is growing and we are excited to be recruiting an experienced worker for the Maidstone districts. Our Family Support Service is all about working holistically with the family to help identify strengths, build resilience and to create lasting change.
What you need: Are you positive, enthusiastic, and able to engage well with all ages? Do you have experience of working with families to help them to find the best in themselves, and are you skilled at empowering others to create their own solutions? Are you able to work on your own initiative, working with across our communities to encourage families to build a brighter future? Are you experienced in motivational interviewing, and have a really strong Solution Focussed Approach to Family Support, we would like to hear from you.
Due to the wide geographical area covered by this post, the post holder will require a full driving license and the use of a vehicle, subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and Equality Act 2010
