We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse /Forklift Reach truck Operative to work for one of our clients based in Ashford, Kent.
Candidates will be required to check all deliveries of stock coming into the warehouse according to set standards. You will be required to operative a Forklift Reach Truck and Pallet Truck safely and efficiently to unload vehicles and relocated materials to different storage locations. You will be required to order pick products to hit strict deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the production team and also sales team. You will be required to pack the items and palletise ready for distribution, load the despatch vehicles.

You will need to conduct regular documented stock checks that will include perpetual inventory counts making sure that all discrepancies are fully investigated, Make sure that the warehouse is clean and tidy to abide by strict SOP & GMP requirements. All of these duties will need to be conducted due to the health and safety regulations of the warehouse.

A key part of your job role will be to transfer stock to and from the third party warehoused using the company van. Due to this specific part of your job role applicants will need to hold a full clean licence and be over the age of 21 due to our clients insurance reasons.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Have experience operating a Forklift Reach Truck
• Full clean driving licence
• Previous experience working within a busy warehouse
• Flexible with working hours
• Be able to work quickly and effectively on their own as well as part of an established team
• Be able to keep calm under pressure
• Be able to hit strict targets given

Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 till 17:00

Pay rate will be £8.00ph to £8.50ph depending on experience.
