Accountancy practice opportunity for an ambitious and confident Senior Accountant who is looking to develop their career.

You will be working in an established and expanding accounts and audit team where you will be allocated your own portfolio of clients. Your responsibility will be to manage these clients on a day to day basis, visiting client premises and providing a full range of accountancy services and advice.

This is certainly a hands-on role where you will be preparing Management Accounts, Financial Statements and assisting with Audit projects. You will also assist the Accounts Manager with the training and development of junior members of your team.

To be considered for this position you will need to have previous experience of working within a chartered accountancy practice; and want to develop your future career as an active member of the firm. ACA/ ACCA qualified, nearly qualified, or qualified by experience. A high level of IT literacy is required, and working knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero and Freeagent packages would be highly beneficial.

On a personal basis, you should be confident and outgoing with clients, friendly and sociable, and proactive. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a knack for organisation. As you will be visiting clients, a full clean driving license with use of a car are required.
