Ashford School is an independent school operating from two sites. We are now recruiting for a Site Supervisor to look after the Senior School located at East Hill, Ashford. Accommodation is provided with this position and the successful applicant will be expected to 'live and breathe' the job as a working supervisor responsible for a small team.

Responsible to the Head of Facilities but tasked directly by the school, your responsibilities will include Maintenance, Works, Security, Transport, Cleaning, Porting as well as Health and Safety.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading a small team and be able to plan and prioritise. Relevant qualifications and/or experience in building and the ability to carry out general building work (internal and external) will be a distinct advantage, as will the ability to manage contractors and co-ordinate and conduct site-specific Health & Safety issues.

Security is a key responsibility and you will be responsible for opening and closing the school buildings and gates, as well as checking and securing the premises subsequent to out of hours intruder alarm activation.
