Due to continued growth, an Administrative Assistant is required for an engineering design company to assist the Office Manager with day to day admin tasks.
The hours are 40 per week, with working hours of 8.30 - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The salary is negotiable based on experience.
Tasks will include (but are not limited to); ensuring the internal database system is accurate and up to date, receptionist duties, assisting the Managing Director and other colleagues as necessary, data entry and checking, credit control, procurement assistance, archiving and file management, assisting with logistics on building projects along with various ad hoc duties as they arise.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner. Attention to detail and being able to work using your own initiative is also very important. Excellent IT skills, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access are also required.
About the Company:
Based in the centre of Maidstone, we operate within the technical and complex structural engineering end of the renovations market working on major structural adaptations to existing buildings including the formation of basements. In association with our sister company we implement all of the Temporary Works propping and support, demolition for structural openings, new structural frames and associated groundworks.
