BMM Weston Ltd. are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Involved in the design, preparation and production of electrical specifications for BMM Weston equipment
• Involved in the completion of digital and analogue circuit design from specification through to verification.
• Responsible for supporting embedded electronics solutions including test facilities
• Keep abreast of current techniques, best practice and regulatory requirements in electrical/electronic engineering and introducing new methods
• Working with others as part of project design team, involved in fault diagnosis and correction and eliminating repetitive faults through design changes
• Responsible for the compilation and maintenance of technical files including the various quality and regulatory aspects of the projects
• Involved in the Quality Management aspects of the Engineering Department, ensuring that products are tested prior to release, and that all documentation required to provide compliance to the Quality Management System is completed.
• Liaise with and support Customer Services, Sales & Marketing and Production regarding modifications and solutions to problems from the field.
• For smaller projects, to assume responsibility for the project, working independently with the support of colleagues and the Technical Director.

• Prepare design calculations, drawings studies, specifications and reports
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
• Electrical engineering graduate
OR
Electrical engineering HND level qualification with industry experience

• Ideally familiar with SolidWorks electrical package
