We are currently looking to appoint a motivated Shop Assistant to help with the day to day running of the Hadlow College Farm Shop. Duties will include assisting customers, replenishing stock, till work and sourcing local produce. Being a team player with excellent customer service and organisational skills is essential, and experience of working in a retail environment would be advantageous.

The shop works closely with Produced in Kent who are dedicated to championing local food, drink, products and services in Kent.
The successful candidate will be required to work a full weekend on a rota basis; on your weekend you will be responsible for the opening and closing of the shop, as well as assigning duties to the weekend staff. Full training will be provided.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, health cash plan, salary sacrifice scheme and free car parking, this post also attracts 25 days’ holiday per annum, pro rata (excluding Bank Holidays).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
