Position: Trainee Draught Person and Trainee Project Manager

Leay Limited, a leader in supply and installation of curtain walling, aluminium windows, doors, are currently recruiting for a Trainee Draught person to be based at our offices in Aylesford, Kent.

Draught Person Responsibilities

Draw technical, elevations, schedule drawings using latest AutoCAD software and Revit software.
Liaise with architects during projects with drawing approval and construction stage.
A knowledge of the following would be advantageous:
Experience of windows and curtain wall systems generally and Kawneer or Metal Technology aluminium profile systems.

A knowledge of constructed or related experience in the following would be an advantage.
Ability to read and understand construction technical CAD drawings.
Be flexible with working hours on occasion to assist meeting deadlines.
Experience in a drawing office environment using CAD software.

Leay Limited, a leader in Design, supply, and installation of curtain walling, aluminium windows, doors, is looking for Project Manager to join their prestigious team.
Reporting to Operations Director assisting with the running and technical and commercial handling of all aspects of major curtain walling projects from award through to final handover to the client. This includes the design, procurement, production and installation phases. Leading and directing the entire project team.
Monitoring progress against programme, specification and budget, and taking corrective measures as necessary. Liaison with main contractor, architects, client and all members of the professional team.

As a Project Manager your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering high value curtain walling projects value of 100K to £2m within the project lifecycle.
• Running multiple projects simultaneously
• Working within M25 and South East area
• Managing sub-contract labour with quality installation and handover to main contractor.
• Oversee all works and run a clean and functioning site
• Liaising and constantly communicating with site management and sub-contractors
• Maintain relations with main contractors and attend regular meetings on site.
• Ensuring preliminary costs run within estimated costs
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments
• Be dedicated and be willing to put in the hours required to achieve results and deadlines
• Ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties
