Our well established client who is based in Maidstone is looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Member to join their friendly team.
Duties:
•Unloading and storing daily deliveries
•Checking for damaged or missing items
•Picking customer orders by hand and using forklift truck
•Packing and wrapping goods
•Loading orders onto lorry for customer deliveries
•Keeping warehouse environment clean and tidy
The successful applicant will ideally have previous warehouse experience. This very busy role so you will need to be physically fit and hard working. This role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is able to communicate well at all levels. You must be organised and able to work using your own initiative when required. Ideally you will hold a current forklift license. The company is happy to provide a refresher course if the license has expired.
Hours: Mon-Fri 35 hours per week - two shift patterns alternating on a weekly basis 7.30am-3.30pm or 10am-6pm (1 hour for lunch)
Salary: Months 1-3: £8.75 per hour, £15,925 pa (£1,327 per month), Months 4-6: £9.00 per hour, £16,380 pa (£1,365 per month) and Thereafter: £9.25 per hour, £16,835 pa (£1,403 per month)
