Our client is a major name in the leisure/hospitality area and is now looking to recruit a Commercial Sales Manager. Ranked highly in the Sunday Times Top 100 companies to work for, an accredited Investors In People Champion with a multi billion pound turnover your career is in safe hands.
This is a customer driven, new business sales role that incorporates
- new business development
- relationship management
- account management and working in both B2B and B2C arenas in order to generate income and reach sales targets.
- The successful candidate will be able to sell a wide variety of hospitality products and events through creative face to face and over
the phone sales pitches.
Key Responsibilities:
-Take responsibility for the implementation of strategies and techniques necessary for achieving personal sales targets and
organisational objectives
-Map potential customers, generating and managing personal leads for the organisation
-100% responsible for new business and maintaining/improving spend with existing client base
-You will be required to meet clients on multiple occasions and present to them face-to-face (both onsite and offsite as appropriate)
-Identification and participate at relevant network events, exhibitions etc
-Ensure all activity is tracked and recorded within Sales Force.
-Some evening and weekend work will be necessary, this will be a minimum of 1 x Saturday each month.
-To undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects as instructed by their line manager and department head.
Essential Skills:
Great sales person who is obsessed with customers and growing a business.
Clean driving license (own car).
Sales experience within a relevant industry (Leisure / Hospitality) - DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
Worked within a faced paced Sales environment, with consistent target achievement.
Relevant client contacts from within the corporate event and hospitality market sector - DESIRABLE NOT ESSENTIAL
