PACKER REQUIRED IMMEDIATE START

We are currently seeking 2 packers to work for one of our clients based in Ashford, close to town centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established, fun and friendly family run company based in the heart of Ashford, with opportunities to develop more skills and following a successful trial period there is are two permanent placements available.

This job will involve working at a fast but accurate pace packing items that have already been picked into boxes ready to dispatch. You will need to complete the order sheets using a specific key, create labels to place onto the orders. You will be using strapping machines to secure the boxes and wrapping some of the products in bubble wrap to make sure that nothing will be damaged during delivery. You will need to work at a fast pace as you will need to hit targets set.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a warehouse order packing, have excellent attention to detail. Be able to work to achieve/over exceed targets. Due to the paper work that needs to be completed you will need to have good numeracy and literacy skills. We are looking for individuals that can work well in a team and also on their own, be able to complete tasks efficiently and accurately, be target driven with the enthusiasm to succeed.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 till 17:30 with an hour lunch break unpaid.

The pay rate for this job will be £7.50 per hour.

You will not need your own transport as public transport is accessible to the area.

There is a permanent placement available for the right candidate.
