Highly successful and expanding organisation are currently looking for an Operations Accountant to join their Head Office in Tunbridge Wells on a 6 / 12-month fixed term contract as soon as possible, liaising with offices in France so an aptitude for the language would be an advantage though not essential..

The organisation offers a multi-cultural atmosphere and you'll be undertaking a range of functions to make sure the Finance department runs smoothly, such as processing of insurance transactions into finance ledgers, assisting with the receipts of premiums paid by bank transfer, cheques, (both in the UK and Paris) and regular reconciliations.

You'll also assist the team with daily accounting, ensure financial systems are updated and maintained, as well as undertaking bookkeeping requirements and monitoring bank accounts.

You'll be dealing with cheques received, both in UK and Paris and updating records accordingly, processing insurance transactions on a variety of products, monitoring receipts and assisting the team in recovering outstanding monies
Using Excel, you'll complete management information reports too.

You'll have some good accounting experience, a good command of English and, ideally, be a French speaker with good commercial awareness and leadership skills as well as being analytical with strong time management skills and attention to detail
