The Role
Accounts Payable Department is looking to recruit for an Accounts Payable Account Handler. Candidates need to have previous Accounts Payable experience or relevant experience working within a finance team.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

- To reconcile, via the set statement reconciliation procedure, on a monthly basis the higher value accounts that you are managing, and effectively resolve issues arising from the reconciliation.
- To ensure that the remainder of the accounts allocated to you are also regularly ``visually`` checked, and any prominent issues arising from the visual check are effectively dealt with.
- To assist suppliers in a professional manner at all times to resolve their queries, whilst ensuring that you balance the needs of the supplier and the Brakes group.
- Ensure that the parked invoices report accurately reflects outstanding invoices for the suppliers you are responsible for.
- To carry out any other ad hoc tasks that you are asked to do, in a friendly, co-operative and professional manner.

The Person
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

- Good telephone manner
- To be able to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure.

- Work on their own initiative as well as working in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of SAP, MS Excel
