The Best Connection is proudly advertising for an electrical engineer for one of our clients in the paddock wood area. The role would involve working for a company manufacturing dewatering and dredging pumps and performing the electrical work that is necessary to make the pumps functional. The job is in a remote location therefore the ideal candidate would need their own form of transport.

The role would also involve going out to occasionally service the pumps on sites which would require the candidate being able to drive.

The responsibilities of the role are:

- Be able to perform electrician duties.
- Work with pump motors, previous experience is desirable but not essential.
- Re-wiring of electronics.
- Working on panel electronics.

The requirements for the role are:

- Having city and guilds qualifications for being an electrician also having 17th edition.
- Having rotating motor or panel experience is desirable but not essential.
- Be happy to learn a new form of electrical work.
- Happy to work as part of a team.
- Be able to drive as it is in a remote location.

The role is a permanent job on a full time basis from Monday to Friday. The working hours are 8:30am to 5pm.

The salary for the role is from £26,000 to £28,000 per annum.
