Our client is the UK's largest Independent stockholder within their industry and currently looking for two Business Development Executives to join their busy team.

Based in Swanley, the business has many different clients and deal with multi million pound organisations to SME's. They have an in-house 6 month training programme, as well as several training courses held at one of their other locations in England.

Working within a friendly team of 10, you will be a positive, high energy individual with previous sales experience. You will be happy to find new business from your own leads as well as the company database, you will also be given some warmer accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Meet or exceed daily targets and KPI's.
Regularly review accounts with Sales Manager identifying future tactics to secure or develop business.
Negotiate payment terms with existing and potential customers.
Review results monthly to develop customer potential.
Respond to all customers, quoting for their requirements promptly and within agreed time-scales.
Follow up previous quotations converting into orders.
Place purchase orders, negotiating professionally.
Enter purchase order details promptly and accurately to ensure customer requirements and delivery schedules are met.
Update and maintain customer records for all potential and existing customers.
Obtain and retain relevant up to date market information (e.g. price movements, competitor Information, lead times, sourcing information, customer information) in a way that enables structured feedback to be given to the Sales Manager, Regional Directors and Central Purchasing Team.


Basic salary circa £22,000 plus targeted incentives including continuous salary increases: Following your first month's training you have a target to hit/ exceed, if you achieve this for 2 consecutive months your salary will rise and a new target is set - there is no cap - each increase is tailored to the individual however on average £1000 each rise.
