* Contract type: Freelance
* Start date: July 2017
* Duration: 12 months
* Salary/Rate: £18-£22 per hour (dependant upon experience)

The Company
A regional developer focused on a high end product are expanding and are looking to grow their existing team.
We are currently working with the Kent based office who operate across Kent and Sussex to find them an ambitious and dedicated Buyer.
The Role
Reporting in to a Commercial Director your role will include but not be limited to:
* Liaise with suppliers and purchase relevant building materials in accordance with site requirements and programme.
* Regular negotiation on prices.
* Ensure supply and delivery dates are adhered to.
* Read and take off from drawings.
* Producing schedules.
* Monitor supplier performance.
* Ensure all invoice queries are dealt with on a monthly basis.
* Provide regular progress updates to the Commercial and Production teams.
About You
* You will have gained circa 2+ years experience, ideally working for a developer, in a Buyer role.
* Strong negotiation and account management skills.
* Commercial awareness.
* Ability to build relationships with both Production and Commercial staff at all levels.
* Recent and relevant experience.
* Strong organisational skills with proven time management skills.
