We are looking for a Permanent Finance Manager for immediate start!
Our Belvedere based client is a forward thinking, busy and fast growing supplier to the construction industry.
We require a proactive and experienced person to manage and oversee the smooth running of the sales and purchase ledger which will include being hands-on, helping with day to day tasks such as
1. Managing the accounts email including dealing with and replying to emails
2. Overseeing credit control to ensure targets are met and debtor days are brought down
3. Managing any accounts that need to be on stop – authorised by DKE
4. Managing Petty Cash
5. Ensuring web and cash sales accounts are kept clean and tidy
6. Overseeing and ensuring card payments are allocated correctly
7. Managing Tradex and any other third party linked software
8. Managing any high profile or problem accounts
9. Managing Staff expenses
10. EC Sales lists and VAT returns
11. Regular reports and meetings as required
12. Covering for team members when off
CMT are a high volume business and we process over 1000 purchase invoices and 6000 sales invoices per month as well as overhead invoices which need to be entered into Sage.
Good leadership and management skills are essential and well as experience dealing with a business to business company of this nature.
Skills and personal qualities required
• Ability to work quickly and with confidence
• Able to act on own initiative when the situation demands
• Good management and team working skills
• Ability to plan and prioritise everyday workload and implement continuous improvements
• Basic IT skills, good knowledge and experience using Sage Line 50
• High level of accuracy and attention to details
• Can be relied upon to produce high quality work and complete tasks
• Aware of the needs of customers/suppliers and the company
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable, honest and disciplined
• Good at time keeping and able to work under pressure
• Flexible and willing
• Clean, neat and tidy and Organized
Hours 8.30 – 5.30 with one hour for lunch.
